The thyroid gland  is a butterfly-shaped endocrine gland in the neck that
is formed on both sides of the trachea windpipe.  It secretes the hormone
thyroxin that controls the rate of metabolism.  Disorders are usually
Hyperthyroidism - excessive functional activity of the thyroid gland or
Hypothyroidism - a deficiency of thyroid activity.

The thyroid gland links the physical body to the throat chakra.  This
chakra is linked to the will, the ability to make decisions based on needs
and in turn creating a lifestyle true to those needs.

Over-activity of the thyroid gland or hyperthyroidism is your body's way
of telling you that you are too busy expending energy outward.
Under-activity of the thyroid glad or hypothyroidism is your body's way
of telling you that you want to be more active but that you don't make
enough requests in order to get what you deeply want.

HOW TO USE
Place the thyroid ring - over thyroid area  
for 5 -60 minutes as you see fit.
It is recommended to start with 5-10 minutes and build your
way up to longer times as you become acquainted to the
healing energies.
